Hello
Welcome to my web site. It's mainly about the free software (free speech, not beer) I program, but with time it became my little information corner. You'll find anything here, ranging from free software to sport event reports, or opinions on various subjects. It's not really a blog, not really a personnal page, and not really a site dedicated to free software either. It's just the collection of all I have to put online. And it represents a bunch of pages.
Software
So the main subject here is (free, of course) software. I insist on the "free as in speech, not beer" aspect, for the English language has this major drawback that the word "free" can have zillions of meanings. For now the most important project I've worked on is Liquid War . Despite its advanced age, it still remains an original game. Note that the concept of the game was invented by someone else. After programming this game, I've developped another one, U61 , which can, at first sight, look like a clone of Tetris (C) (Copyright) (anyone that says Tetris again ends up in jail). In fact it's something else. And those who had already heard of the "U-Foot" nickname in 1995 know of course Babal , an arcade game for HP48, which I developped when studying chemistry at school. The game was pretty successfull and I forever remained a total ignorant in chemistry.
I'm not limited to game developpement. PyGpsWeb and UWiKiCMS are examples of significant non-game projects I developped. As any UNIX addict who spends hours on his computer, I also regularly write various utility programs, which I consider being "hacks" . Do not expect highly interesting things there, but these tools might still help. At least I need and use them.
Various stuff
This site not being limited to software (free as in free speech!), there are also many other things, with topics ranging from pedal cars to motorcycle. I also put online reports of my various sport related adventures, my next project being to participate in a deca-Ironman in November 2010.
Enjoy,
PS: I sometimes sign my messages with GnuPG, so here's my public key.
